Short Biography

Rezoan Kobir works as a Research Associate for the Center of Excellence for Science of Implementation and Scale-up (SISU) at BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University. He is working for exploratory research titled on Climate Change Migration and Health System resilience in Haiti and Bangladesh. Previously, he worked for an Implementation Research, ‘Cool to be Cool,’ part of the ‘Million Cool Roof’ challenge. This challenge wants to reduce the absorption of sunlight by applying solar heat-reflective paint on the roof of urban slum households. In addition, he has worked on other projects such as Palliative Care, Nutrition Study, UNFPA Rohingya Study and Kaliganj IR. He visited the fields for all of those qualitative studies to conduct KII, IDI, FGD, Shadowing, and Focused Ethnography. Besides field visits, Rezoan has substantial experience in the literature review, developing qualitative guidelines, qualitative data coding, analysis, and report writing. Before joining BRAC University, he completed BSS and MSS degree from Department of Anthropology in Jahangirnagar University.
