Short Biography

I am a Senior Research Fellow at the James P. Grant School of Public Health at the BRAC University. My research interests include health economics, development economics, climate change, and impact evaluation. The research projects I am presently involved with focus on exploring pre- and post-pandemic energy use by enterprises and assessing the impact of climate change in the southwest region of Bangladesh. Most of my previous work involves the evaluation of different development interventions. I have evaluated the thermal performance of cool roofs, the impact of medical treatment loans in improving healthcare access, and the effectiveness of the edutainment program in changing perceptions related to child marriage in Bangladesh. Besides, I teach quantitative research methods in the MPH program at the school.
