Short Biography

Subas Biswas is currently working as a Senior Research Fellow at BRAC School of Public Health (BRAC JPGSPH), BRAC University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. His focused areas are gender, sexual and reproductive health and rights, marginalized community, empowerment and development. His expertise is in designing research and intervention, including developing Behavioral Change Communication (BCC) materials and implementation. He made some audio-visual interactive documents for broadcasting. He jointly designed and implemented many of the research (qualitative and mixed-methods approaches) project. Before joining BRAC JPGSPH, he worked in Water Sanitation Hygiene Nutrition and HIV issues in icddr,b, Dhaka. He obtained his Master’s Degrees in Public Health and Development Studies from BARC University and Botany from Jahangirnagar University.
