Short Biography

I am currently involved in research, leading and coordinating small and medium donor-funded projects and consortia, research, capacity building activities and advocacy. My research work focuses on qualitative research projects. Capacity building activities include designing and conducting training needs assessment, modules, curricula and innovative tools, and conducting training and training of trainers on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), sexuality and issues related to gender and gender-based violence for adolescent boys and girls, youth, sexually diverse population, service providers and community people; advocacy activities are on issues around gender equity, and establishing SRHR.My research work mostly focuses on adolescent and young people’s sexual and reproductive health and rights, violence against women and girls, and health and well-being of vulnerable population groups including transgender and intersex people. My research expertise is in coordinating and managing qualitative studies, qualitative investigation and analysis and baseline and endline analysis.
