Short Biography

I have completed my M.Sc and B.Sc (Hon’s) in Statistics from Rajshahi University. Currently, I am working as an Analyst in Statistics at BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University. During my professional career, I have learned about independent statistical research, resolving queries and issues related to statistical analysis; conducting data modeling on the research data; providing relevant reports to researchers, and preparing high-quality manuscripts for independent research. Besides, I have completed a Diploma in Database Design and Development (ORACLE) from IDB-BISEW IT Scholarship Project, therefore, I am an expert in software development using Oracle 9i, 10g, Oracle 6i, SPSS, MS Access, and MS Excel to develop, maintain and troubleshoot data entry system and data Export. I have deep knowledge of Monitoring the regular cleaning of datasets maintaining the files, resolving any data-related queries, and seeking guidance from external academic institutions to develop solutions for statistical research. Now I am the data management office's supervisor, so I can promote a spirit of collegiality in support of diversity amongst team members and in the organization. My research experience in complex data management, designing mobile-based survey tools, and handling and analyzing nationally representative datasets. His research interests include Nutrition Surveillance on Food Security and Nutrition in Bangladesh. Before joining BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University he had worked for 5 years at an international organization called International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr’b), Senior Statistical Officer. Finally, I would like to let you know that I am related to health research, so I preserve the knowledge of Statistical approaches used in public health research, Statistical programming languages.
